A recently completed study by the University of Texas has revealed that bees actually produce honey as a means of distracting humans from their primary purpose, which is to sting people. "They give us sweet, sticky goo in an effort to win us over, but multiple tests have revealed that they prefer to sting people when given the chance," one researcher revealed, "and they prefer to sting fat people at picnics more than any other."
